Honey Heat Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings
Brought to you by Caribeque culinary partner: Brian Hinkle
Ingredients:
Instructions:
  •  Peel onion and cut onions into 1/2 inch thick rings
  • Pop the internal rings out until you have a nice sturdy onion ring (about 3 rings of the onion each)

  • Wrap each with bacon going around the onion ring until fully covered (depending on size you may use 2 slices of bacon per ring)
  • Insert wood skewer through onion to help secure bacon in place
  • Season bacon wrapped rings with Caribeque Honey Heat

  • Grill Indirect @ 275-300F for about 90 minutes or until Bacon is crispy.
  • We recommend adding a few wood chunks of your choice for a little smoke flavor as well.  Hickory works great!

These Honey Heat Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings are best served with Honey Heat Smack Sauce!  This is guaranteed to be a hit for your BBQ or tailgate party.
