Directions

  • Rub all sides of the chuck roast with Beef Rub

  • Let the chuck roast rest at room temperature while getting the smoker ready.
  • Preheat smoker to 225°-250°
  • Place water pan above coals
  • Add 2 cherry chunks on top the hot coals

  • Smoke the chuck roast at 225°-250° until it reaches 203° internal temperature
  • Place the roast in a foil pan and add 1/2 cup of beef broth or your favorite beer
  • Allow to rest for at least 1 hour before slicing

 

  • Note:Cooking time will vary
  • You're looking at 90 to 120 minutes per pound on average
