Y’all know I love any combination of beef and mushrooms.
Here’s the recipe for this slow cooker beef and mushrooms stew.
Ingredients
• 1 - 2 pounds of stew beef
• Minced garlic
• Two packs of whole white mushrooms
• 2 tablespoonsCaribeque Big and Bold Beef
• 2 teaspoons Caribeque Island Thyme
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 cup of Merlot
Directions
• Turn your slow cooker on medium amd spray with olive oil
• Rinse and dry your mushrooms ( get that dirt off ).
• Cut of the bottom half inch of the stems. Now add Island Thyme to your mushrooms and set aside.
• In a bowl add the stew beef , Worcestershire sauce, Big and Bold Beef , 1/2 cup of merlot and minced garlic
• Add to slow cooker and let it cook until your beef reaches your desired internal temperature ( I go to 125-130.
• When the beef is cooked drain some of the liquid into a container and add your mushrooms.
Leave it on medium for another 30-40 minutes or until your mushrooms get a firm yet flexible feel.
• If you want more juices pour back in some of the juices you set to the side.
Serve and enjoy!
