Calypso Kick Pork Stir Fry
(Wok Style)
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork (thinly sliced; loin or shoulder works well)
- 1 tbsp Caribeque Calypso Kick seasoning
- 2 tbsp sesame oil (divided)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced – sub with mini sweet peppers if preferred)
- 1 small onion (sliced)
- 1.5 cups broccoli florets (lightly steamed or blanched)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (minced)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
Instructions:
- Prep Pork: In a bowl, toss pork slices with Calypso Kick and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Let it marinate while you prep the veggies.
- Heat Wok: Add 1 tbsp sesame oil to a hot wok over medium-high heat.
- Stir-Fry Pork: Add pork to the wok and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: Add remaining 1 tbsp sesame oil to the wok. Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Veggies: Add peppers, onions, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until just tender but still crisp.
- Combine: Return pork to the wok. Add remaining 1 tbsp soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir-fry everything together for another minute to coat and combine.
- Serve: Serve hot over rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
